The Session of John Calvin Presbyterian Church is the governing body of our community of faith.

Session members are ordained ruling elders of the Presbyterian Church USA.

"Ruling elders" are so named not because they “lord it over” the congregation (Matt. 20:25),

but because they are chosen by the congregation to discern and measure its fidelity to the Word of God,

and to strengthen and nurture its faith and life.

Our Ruling Elders are always available to answer questions or receive your feedback

about life and ministry at JCPC.

We have six ruling elders, elected to serve three year terms. 

Each oversees a different area of church life.
