Our Staff

Diane is an experienced pastor who is intrigued by the ways in which the Holy Spirit is always doing something new in and through the church. Her favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:38-39, a reminder that nothing can separate us from the love of God in Jesus Christ. 

Diane is a transplanted northerner, having grown up in Rochester NY.  She and her husband Drew live in Salisbury and enjoy exploring both the city and the beauty of the Piedmont region. They have two adult sons and a spoiled rescue pup.  

Diane is available to meet with you in person on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (she works at home on Wednesdays) or Sundays after worship.

Michael has been the music director at John Calvin for nearly twenty years.  A native of Fayetteville, West Virginia, he has a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Glenville State University (WV) and a Master of Music in Music Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.  After many years of teaching vocal music, piano and theatre in Rowan and Cabarrus Counties, he made a career change and currently works for the City of Salisbury in the Community Engagement Department.  He enjoys tennis, outdoor activities, and performing with community theatres throughout the region.  

Tate Ward has been our adminstrative assistant since 2022.  They are the first smiling face you will meet when you stop by on Tuesdays, Thursdays or Fridays.  You may get to meet faithful sidekick Paul (pictured) as well as he often helps out around the office! Tate is the  person to ask with questions about how things get done around JCPC, or if you have a submission for the bulletin or the monthly newsletter.
