At JCPC, we believe in the power of communal worship. We believe that we are meant to live in faithful community with one another and that the real presence of Jesus Christ meets us at the communion table through the Holy Spirit.
Sunday Worship
Music is an important part of our worship service with a mix of traditional, spiritual, and gospel musical selections. The choir is small but mighty, led by our fabulous and faith-filled music director. We share our joys and concerns with one another each week and enjoy passing the peace of Christ with one another. Our semons typically follow the scriptures of the Revised Common Lectionary. We hope you find our worship service to be warm and welcoming with God's love abundant.
Worship begins at 11:00 am and typcially lasts one hour. Parking is readily available in our lot on Overman Streer. We are ADA compliant and have an elevator so that all can access our sanctuary (elevator access on Brenner Ave)
Come As You Are
JCPC is a casual worship experience and we pride ourselves on being flexible with the ability to laugh through the hiccups. All attires are welcome from suits to shorts. (You always see several folks attired in our JCPC T-Shirts!)
We love children and believe they bring "a joyful noise." They are welcome to stay in worship or we have a nursery if preferred.
